Welcome to our Two Day Premium Fine Art, Sculptures and Carvings auction. In day one, the auction features limited edition prints and limited edition canvas of highly acclaimed artists. There are many highlights, including a large collection of the works of Pablo Picasso. We are quite excited to also offer a collection of limited editions of the works of Pino. Pino was certainly a throwback to the old figurative masters, and noted for creating amazing eye appeal. For those who collect wildlife art, you will find the selection of the art of Robert Bateman of superior quality. His ability to "capture a moment in time" and his ability to "paint space" while creating such a distinct focal point as well as depth, should be evident. There is something for all tastes, including the horse racing art of Fred Stone, the nostalgic imagery depicted by James Lumbers, and much much more. We are indeed fortunate to be offering a collection of the original artwork of Robert Bateman. Bateman is truly an international icon, acclaimed as a superb artist and as a noted environmentalist. His works can be found in the collections of museums, noted institutions and of the famous. Other original art in the sale includes works by Carl Brenders, AJ Casson, Pino, Bill Saunders, Doug Laid and the modern art of Victor Zag. Some important museum quality sculptures by David Rueben and Toonoo Sharkey are world class. Take a look at the fine selection of duck decoy carvings by award winning carvers, as well as the selection of original masks. Finally, we are featuring an amazing collection of the works by Norval Morrisseau. We feel it is justified to be excited and hope all of our viewers will share in our enthusiasm.
